Cultural Destination Nepal - Fall 2000

Namaste! It took me a while, but I finally got some free time and access to a scanner, so here's a webpage full of my pictures from Nepal. If you have any links or pictures to add to this page (Everyone should have at least a couple pictures to add), send them to chrisde_eyre@hotmail.com, or if you don't want to bother scanning them, just write me an email and I'll reply with my home address so you can send them to me through the post.

For those of you that don't know me, I can only assume that you know someone that was or is going to be involved with Cultural Destination Nepal. If you're thinking about volunteering yourself, I'd definitely recommend CDN to anyone who is patient, easy-going, and looking for the experience of a lifetime. Rajesh does a great job helping all of his volunteers with anything and everything they need... but no matter how well something is organized, in Nepal there is always something that can go wrong, so you've got to be ready for anything.

The only complaint I had for Rajesh was that I didn't have access to enough information about the program before I got there. The only way that I can think of to get more information would be to talk to past CDN participants, like myself, so email me if you want some more info.

I'm back in Canada now, and I will be for the next couple years, with the possible exception of travelling during the summers. If you have any questions about my experiences in Nepal, my thoughts on CDN, or anything else, email me and I'll get back you as soon as I can.
